It looks more like an NVC issue. Spoke to US consulate India helpline. According to them, they can't help unless the case has moved out of NVC.  When I asked about the current wait times the lady asked me to refer to this link.

Well I just travelled to London to get my head off the whole process. This process was almost getting me depressed. I will be here till I get my interview letter.

I feel you. I'm also depressed about how long it's taking to receive the IL.

I'll be leaving end of next week to be with my husband for a week to celebrate our anniversary.

Hoping to receive the IL soon so I can go with him for his medical exam and fingerprinting or better yet, the interview. Good luck!
