No. I submitted my DS-260 in Jan so the during my interview the Embassy didn't ask me to do that. The embassy never asked for any of my documents apart from the marriage certificate, police clearance certificate and birth certificate

Great. Thanks!!!

Hey everyone. So we got our case approved and the interview scheduled for July 11th, Moscow. But the instruction on the official nvc website says we need to schedule the appointment ourselves. I'm confused am i supposed to set the appointment or is it already done?

Thanks in advance

My husband had his medical exam today. I went with him and I was happy how organized is here in São Paulo, Brazil. The doctor examined his body (only on his underwear) and then prescribed the  following shots and exams below (my husband was not able to provide shot records as he lost them):

1. One combined shot for measles, mumps and rubella.

2. One combined shot for tetanus, diphtheria toxoids.

3. Flu shot.

4. Urine text for gonorrea

5. Chest X-Ray for tuberculosis

6. Blood test for syphillis

We were able to get everything done within a couple of hours.

Since our interview is not until July 29th, he said that he will get all the results by the middle of next week and will review them with us to make sure everything is in order before he seals them and put them in a secured envelope for us to take to the interview. The lab will also be emailing us the results for us to review by end of this week before the doctor gets the hard copy results next week.

UPDATE on my husband medical exams mentioned above.

So we are again pleasantly surprised how fast the medical exam is done here in São Paulo, Brazil. We just got all the results online and thank god everything came back negative! Can’t believe all the results came back in less than 24 hours!

Now we just need to pick up the sealed envelope from the doctor tomorrow.

Hello VJ fam. I want to start by saying a big thank you to GOD and to all who supported me during this tedious journey. I'm thankful to God who made it possible for me to end this journey with a big smile.

My husband had his interview on 6/12/2019 at 8:30am in Yaounde Cameroon.

I went to support him through the process. we go there at 7am and we joined 2 long lines. Around 7:20am, an officer came out and said all immigrants on one line and dv lottery on another line. We adjusted according to our type of visa.

At the time of entry i was told i couldn't go with my husband but i could wait for him outside. He went in ard 7:45am and i waited for him outside.

Long story short, my husband said once inside, he went through security and had to leave his bag at the front desk and just took his documents which he gave to an officer;

2 passport photo

Marriage Certificate

Birth certificate

passport

police clearance

Sealed envelop from the clinic to proof that he did his medicals before interview.

Album

After 2hrs 30mn his number was called around 11 30am. He said the CO was friendly.

My husband said he greeted him first and it started off smoothly......

The CO told him I know its your wife petitioning for you and my husband smiled and then Questions began

When did we meet?

When did we get married?

Do you know where your wife lives? (my husband said he responded by asking him, Do you want me to give you her address? and CO laugh and said no)

How and when did i come to the US?

What's my profession?

Where does he intend to stay?

Congratulations you will receive your visa when we receive your medical results ( that was because my husband did his medicals 2days before the interview). They kept his passport and by next week he will be picking up his visa .

NB: the CO only looked at our album and nothing else. He did not ask for transcripts or whatsapp conversations or anything else.

Thank you to all VJ fam and Good luck to @nyokie  and every one else.

A little tip for those who are looking to file, please upload all documents when sending your Form I 130. Things will be smooth at the end.

LOVE YOU ALL😍😘 and GOD BLESS you!!

Now that is one nice smooth interview congratulations all the best to you both.

you still with him or you return back home?

Me too... like this is life ... 🤷🏾‍♀️

If it's not this week, I'm going to have to take a big vacation to get my mind off of this. I can't concentrate on anything.

Waiting for 5 weeks for the interview date as of today. Would feel better about it if there was any way of asking how much longer I will have to wait but thats obviously impossible. Meanwhile a friend of mine who applied for a tourist visa at the same embassy only had to wait 2 weeks for an interview appointment. How is it fair?

I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this but you can actually go o. Portals look up.your countries embassy and get estimated wait times. The friend that told me the embassy in Ankara usually takes two months is correct.. as I looked it up. It actually can take three but to contact them after 2months.
