I'm so tired of waiting as I'm sure you all are too. I feel like I can't start to plan anything until I know the interview date. So frustrating. Good luck to all of you.

Yes it’s hard waiting. Sometimes the joy of seeing people getting IL is clouded over by wondering things like “ why did they get theirs in 3 weeks and still for us it’s been almost 90 days or more” the emotional roller coaster that this process makes us ride is making me physically sick. So some of us... people in Cairo, people in Mumbai or Mexico or many African nations.....we are suffering, and for what? We have paid for our family members LEGAL immigration to the USA and this is what we get! Our lives stuck on hold with NVC instead of enjoying our time with the family members we are trying to be with.

Sorry for the rant!

I’m just frustrated....and I feel just sick!😢😢

Does NVC stop scheduling interviews after the 15th?

Nope. The estimated dates that people tell you here are when we see most interview letters being sent out (we call it the IL rain). A lot of interview letters are sent out during the 2nd and 3rd week of the month. But there are some other's who get it on other dates as well. Not rare at all. It all depends on the embassy. Mumbai seems to be sleeping now. Haven't really seem any updates about IL as of yet. Fingers crossed! Hope it floods soon!

That's the right spirit. In fact after your get interview date, your surely can pre-plan things in your head but don't commit money to anything until you've had your interview and received your physical passport+visa in hand so as to make sure everything looks correct and there are no issues.

Day 11 and these flights are steady going up..smh

I know. It's crazy.

When I booked my flight, the duration was 19 hrs 45 minutes. Now they changed the schedule and it's 39 hrs 45 minutes. That's why I thought I will cancel it and book another one. After looking at the prices, I decided it's better to limp to my husband's arms (I know I will have a sore back and legs) than change the flight. 😜

USCIS, NVC & USEM plays their waiting games on you, and now the airlines too are joining in on the delay/waiting party. Your will surely get there at all cost; welcome to America in advance.

I don't even want to think of what games they will play on me at the POE. This past few months have been such an emotional turmoil. I had an exam today and I forgot about it. I can retake it again but I can't believe I forgot that I had an exam. Guess I need to take care of myself better. Honestly, I am so thankful to you and to everyone here. I recieved so much support, advice and hope that I know for sure without you all I would have lost my sanity.

NVC should open the real flood gates already; in fact we need a hurricane storm from NVC. I have friends on here waiting for interview letters for a long time. Next week hopefully; fingers crossed.
