If we had a cc on 4/1/2019 and our Pd  of June 1 on an ir1/cr1 visa does anyone think July will be our month. I just feel sick today.

my mind cannot even...😢😢

This has been an interesting month or two . It depends on the embassy and where your case is at on the queue . Pray about it !

The MUMBAI consulate is giving IL to IR1/CR1. I have not seen or heard any F2A getting IL after PD of Jan 2017. So I guess CC date is pointless.

Wait! how do you know? and when did you CC? who already received one?

We are still waiting for a IL Mumbai Consulate. We CC 5.13.19. We are IR1 category.

well. i got snarky with an agent. yes I called again to ask information about my case. I mean after all, this is what they are supposed to be giving us. information. So i called them to ask about the interview dates for my embassy, he gave me the same line about not being able to tell me anything that i just have to wait. so i asked him straight. " why do you have a customer service line to ask questions about our cases and yet you refuse to give us any information about the cases you claim you give service for?" AND he HUNG UP ON ME!! wonder if I struck a core! Jeez and to think we are actually PAYING for this 😕 SMH

♥️ I love your directness. We should all write down the name of the person we talk to at the NVC. And if you have someone rudely and unprofessionally hanging up on you or some other disrespectful behavior you write to the Department of State and Congress and Senate with dates, names, and summary of the issues.

You do realize that interviews are assigned by NVC only after the consulates have informed them of available dates/times....therefore the interviews are basically driven by what the consulates tell NVC.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Regardless there is no acceptable reason our appropriated money is misused. They need to do a better job. Be more efficient.

It's hard for an NVC employee to give you information which they don't have...............this whole process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and money.

yup i do, however. i believe that there is a serious disconnect. like i get how they do it but they should also be able to give us information regarding the place in line. ok so you have 20 people in front of you or something to help us ease the tension and frustration of the process. and unfortunately its the NVC who has the line for customer service, so the question goes to them.

i agree 100 100 with this statement. but we would need a way to collectively share this information as a large group because i feel that no one listens to individuals.

Totally agree! Which is why when masses protest or sign petitions things get some attention. Sometimes a lot of attention (if the media cares to take notice)
