I’m not sure if is only available for those people who are filling online trough CEAC but I know that after you log in in CEaC with case and invoice number, once you are in home page is a small log in the right part of the page almost at the top and it says messages, you click on it and this will take you to the mail box.

Thanks.

In our case I didn’t know I could had gotten it expedited as I am in the US Air Force Reserve and when we got CC on May 21st I sent the expedite request and a week later our expedite request was approved and was able to schedule our interview right away. So again you don’t lose anything 😉

Wow just a week that was fast. And how many days does NVC took to send your case to the embassy?

I don’t know if other embassys in other countries have their own websites pages. You can google it. Just try to see if there is a website of your current consulate

Hi Everyone,

First of all, congratulations to all who got Visa approvals and IL and CC in past 13 days.

Good Luck to those who are waiting. Patience is the key.

I was bit busy with my medicals, biometrics and EID celebrations.

Secondly, I had Interview yesterday on 13th @ Mumbai embassy. (CR-1)

AND ALHAMDULILLAH "MY VISA GOT APPROVED" . :)

I want to thank whole VJ community, especially seniors members, experienced members like @nastra30 @nyokie @KJ2 @ShreebhagyaK9 @Sarah Kay @sj0509  and all those who have helped me. Sorry as i couldn't tagged you all.

So experience was about patience.

Appointment time was 7.30 am.

I was in Queue at 7.00 am.

Entered and cleared security at 7.15 am.

Got Token no. at 7.30 am,

They checked and arranged documents at 8.10 am.

Passport, DS-260, Birth certificate (+1 copy), Marriage Certificate (+1 copy), PCC - Indian & Australia (+1 copy each). Medical Reports Envelope.

The counter guy asked me about my Language preference for Interview which was English. Then He asked,

1)Who  is calling you ? 2) My Birth date 3) Is it our first Marriage ? 4) How Long I have been in Australia ? ( I studied in Australia)

5) Have I ever been to USA ? 6) What other countries I have visited ?

He took all originals and returned all copies.

Then Asked me to wait for Interview call.

Then patience game begins.

They call for interview randomly.  of course Special need ones and other languages got preference.

I was waiting for 2 hours and last of my batch.

Then FInally at 10.05 am I got called.

She greeted me and fired with questions politely.

1) Who's calling you ?

2) Arranged OR Love  marriage ?

3) Who' arranged it ? How they know you and Her ?

4) How did they think you're compatible ?

5) When did you first met ?

6) When did you get married ? How many guest were invited ?

7) Did She visited you after marriage ? Why not ? (we were together for 1 month after marriage, then she went back.)

8 ) Where did you went for Honeymoon? What you did there ?

9) Have you ever talked before seeing each other ?

10) What you like about Her ? What are her hobbies ?

11) What she likes to cook ? Did she ever cook for you anything ?

12) How many guest were there in wedding ? Does Her Parents were there ?

13) How many guests were there from USA ?

14) Asked for Wedding Album. She checked every page. ( I gave MINI album)

15) Asked me to Show my aunt and Her Uncle who arranged our wedding.

16) Again she asked Why she did not visited you ?

17) Who is your Joint sponsor? What is the relation with Him ? Where He works ? Where do his wife works ? Do they have children ?

18) After seeing Australian PCC, she asked What you did in Australia ?

19) What you studied ? Which University and where ?

20) As she been to Australia we talked about places she visited and I told her that I been to those places.

21) What your wife studied ? Where she is working now ?

22) Why she is not working in the field of study ?

23) Again she asked how many people were invited ?

24) Again she asked why she did not visit you again ?

Ohhh. Then She said 'Your Visa is Approved". Alhamdulillah.

She was noting down all my answers in her system.

All these questioning happened in 12 minutes. Nearly, after 1 year and 3 months of applying  I-130 finally this phase is over.

Special Thanks to @sj0509 for sharing his wife's experience. I have been asked Similar questions to her.

Good Luck Everyone. I Would Love to read more success posts from all of you.

Yay! Great news :)

Hey, did your status in CEAC website change after NVC approved the expedite request like Case at NVC to Case at Consulate or you just recieved some email that the request has been accepted (How do we know the request has been accepted by NVC) ?

You will get a email response within 7 days after nvc email acknowledges receipt of your expedite request. It will either be expedite approved or not. Very clear message. If approved, case status will change to "in transit" and then "Ready".

Very straightforward.

I would also like to point out that expedite is not a guarantee that you will get early interview. Right now in Abu Dhabi, there are two expedite cases waiting for interview, one got interview date for August, other has been waiting for two weeks without any response from embassy after expedite.
