Getting USCIS approval notice online

Hi all,

 

I noticed a lot of people wondering or not knowing when the USCIS approves their I-129F petition.  What I did after I received my WAC case ID # was go to:

 

https://my.uscis.gov/

 

I created an account, then associated my WAC Case ID # with my account.  Once my I-129F petition was approved, the case status updated to approved the same day it was approved (see attachment).  

 

However, if I checked my petition status here;

 

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

 

It only showed when my case was received.  It NEVER showed that it was approved.

It the opposite for me . I have a uscis account and I was approved 13 days ago and my account still showing ' Case was received ' but the old website showing ' case was approved ' 

It depends on their system and what they update first I think

Interesting!  Maybe it depends on an USCIS employee hitting the button.  Definitely pays to check both then.
