I have been asked to Post this ( Review of My Calgary Medical)

Yes the only US Visa Panel doctor in Calgary is: Dr. W.A Viljoen, located in Signal Hills Area of Calgary:

Hummingbird Medical Centre #100 1919 Sirocco Dr. SW.

403- 255-8182 ( tell them it is for a US Visa)

This Place is in a small strip Mall an actually is a Plastic Surgon/ botox place.

I called them before I got my interview letter and as long as I had a Visa Case Number they would book me in.. I think it took a couple weeks to get in..

They seem to do this Visa Medical thing as a side line,(Money Maker) and never really return my calls, but once there it took about an hour to get thru it .. mostly waiting.

" the Young girls there in the front end of this place seem not to care much, so check everything they do e.g address name spelling etc..

1. They require you to bring in a Letter with your case number on it.. from the visa centre.

2. They require you to bring in your record of immunization's

(available from The Calgary Health Region " if you are not to old as I am , and

they have not thrown them out)...

If you /they dont have your records I think for a Price this doctor with give you the Necessary update shots... these are dependant of your age look up immunization requirements on VJ..

3. Bring your Passport & and Two US type Passport Pictures.. ( look up exact requirements as they are different from Canadian type on VJ ) You will require Two more for interview so get 5)

4.They will ask you number question all very general and do a eye test ( cover one eye and read second from bottom line on Chart etc..

5. Then you will wait again for the doctor exam.. He is very nice but seems not very talkative, he will ask a few question but all general.

6. he will get you to strip down to your birthday suit and do various tests dependant if you are a women or a man.. for the Man a quick look and exam of the Boys..all normal things blood pressure, heart etc.

7. Pay them $260.00 ( I gave them Cash) and get receipt.

When that is over the give you a map/ location for the Blood Test

(close by Ricmond Rd & Scarce Trail " behind Canadian Tire ish" took 15 Mins

and a Map for the Chest Xray Near Westbrook Mall. " Westbrook Prof Bldg

# 200 1610 37 St SW ( second floor) 403-777-3000 took 10 Mins

When That is all done. Both Places will send the results to the Doctor ( 5 Days)

Then you can arrange to pick them up ( the very Large chest xray envelope & a Sealed

envelope " package ... Dont Open it "" leave sealed.. for your interview date.

this is where I had a small problem, leaving message(s) an no calls back to see if all was ready to pick up..

But in the end I got them.. and I asked them if I was all ok, and I got an answer if you where not we would of told you type of responce..

But it really wasnt to much to worry about it all went smooth..

Good Luck

Safe and Happy Journey..

Colin
