Most consulates consider police certs to be valid for 1 year.

8. NBI Clearance. Applicants aged 16 and older must have a valid Record Clearance for Travel Abroad Purposes from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). An official NBI letter of explanation is required for any notations of “No Criminal Record,” “No Criminal Conviction,” “No Pending Criminal Case,” or “With Derogatory Record.” For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is considered valid only for a year.

Again this should have been posted in a different forum: IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa General Discussion or The Foreign Embassy and Consulate General Discussion Not NVC they have nothing to do with police certs, the certs are needed for the interview at the consulate.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

My wife's Philippines police certificate says "valid for 60 days." But you don't need a police certificate from the Philippines, just the NBI certificate. The NBI certificate says it is valid for 1 year.

And yes, the NVC DOES collect police certificates for CR-1 visas, so this is the correct forum.
