Sure, I will let you know once we have a new update. So, I had a question about your case.

As I understood, your assets were accepted by the NVC but failed at the interview?

Viet Nam here. NVC accepted the assets but somehow the Consulate Officer didn’t. It’s really not fair.

Thanks for your reply! I did not know that could happen!!! We make sure we have all the documents that we can have with us for the interview.

What did you do? Find a co sponsor? Or your lawyer would explain to the NVC

I submitted a joint sponsor and your case will be on hold until you submit the joint sponsor even though the tone of the message is as if the decision is in the hand of immigration officer at the interview.

I read some posts on the internet, some people still get denial after submitting co sponsor documents even though the income is really high 84,000$ for house hold size of 6 ( the requirement is only around 54,000$). May I know if your co sponsor files for less than 3 people (household size is 2 or 3?)

My co-sponsor has a family size of 4 (including my husband) and she made 90 ~95k on average for the past three years. Maybe showing continuity in income could be a deciding factor. For instance, the form asks only for the past year's tax transcript but I decided to include everything for the past three years.
