OK.  All petitions are at the Embassy.  I called to make an appointment.  They said that NVC makes the appointment.  I explained that it was expedited and that I was told to call and make the appointment.  They said "I'm sorry"... There are no current appointment dates available but we can try online at a later date.  The phone appointments and the online appointments will use the same information so there is no reason to call.  So now my expedite looks like an August interview at the earliest but I won't be able to schedule that until July when the schedule is online...

I'm getting frustrated now...LOL

Would it have been quicker at this point if the case wasn't expedited? It sure sounds like it with all the set backs we've seen or heard so far.

WOW.  They also said for CR visa each is separate and they will not try to put them together.  Each interview appointment must be called in separately and each case will be on its own schedule.  They do not attempt to have the interviews together but that may happen on the same day if we are lucky.

That's crazy. Even if they are separate petitions they should still be scheduled together as they are tied to the same petitioner.

Hopefully that will change sooner than that to where you could schedule the appointments before the end of the month.

It does appear that the expedite slowed me down.

They say that all CR visas are handled on their own and they do not combine them like they do for K-1/K-2.  They wouldn't even allow the same phone call to do more than one petition.

They said that July was full and they don't know when the calendar will be back online.  I'm thinking to let the kids finish another year there instead of  starting them mid year here.

Hi guys, we are here in manila now and have our interviews set for tomorrow morning... if you wait won't you have to get new medical and other things renewed? Our medical were only good for 6 months for my daughter and 3 months for my wife because of sputum test.   I was told that the visas will be start dated for the day of the medical and we have 6 months for the visa to expire from the start date of medical exam.

We haven’t done medical yet. We can’t until we get an interview date.

That may be a good idea, isn't like there is a rush, the petition will still be valid.

There must be a huge influx of visa applications, even CFO has added additional slots for the GCP seminar.

The kids don't want to stay there another year.  They want to come here as soon as possible.  So does the wife.  We will just do the first available interviews.  Each will have to interview separately but I will try for the same day, week or month.  Right now it looks like they won't open the calendar again until mid July since June and July are already booked solid.  Remind me not to expedite next time.  LOL

Don't forget you will have to create 3 online profiles, and complete 3 delivery registrations  also.

This lack of interview appts reminds of a few years back ..  do you remember typhoon Yolanda?      Hen's teeth were easier to find than interview appts.

Good point on the 3 profiles.  I didn't need that with the K-1 and K-2s!  I hope they allow the same email address with different passwords!

Couldn't use the same email to create an acct with the K-1 if it had previously been used.    Guess you will need 3 emails too.    ;)

I got it all setup.  I may start a new one for Rose since the original account has the K-1 stuff with it.  Kind of a start completely clean!  LOL

Ya, you are better off to start new.  To get the old acct cleaned up to use again you have to contact the embassy and it can take weeks ... which is why I know you need a new email to create a new acct.  ;)

It was tracked to her passport number.  I wasn't allowed to start a new login for her alone.  It seems OK.  They opened 20 spots for June 25 today and we jumped on them.

We are set for the interview.  They did request a CENOMAR for my wife.  We will ask PSA and give the embassy whatever PSA gives us.  I also have to upload an I-864A for her.  I assume that is because we filed jointly.  All in all not too bad.  Hopefully medical will be easy as we had all the shots last year.
