I need some positive energy. How is it possible that someone who filed June 20 got their notification via text before us who filed June 18? :(

That's a quite common occurrence, that's  just the way it happens sometimes. Don't  concern yourself about that though at this very early stage. Notifications are NOT always forthcoming you may never get one and your NOA2 just shows up in the mail so don't sweat it!!!

Oh wow! I thought the count for NOA2 starts when you receive NOA1.  We haven't receive anything via text or email. I'm not even expecting a hard copy just a notification will do. But, this is relieving to hear/read at least.

I meant your NOA1 just shows up in the mail, but that also applies to your NOA2. Generally  the countdown does start after your NOA1 you are correct.

You are getting caught up in stuff that really doesn't matter. So someone "cut in line", what can be done about it? Nothing. It happens. Everyone is different, every case is different, every Adjudicator is different and each embassy is different. You try and make sense out of this and you are going to go mad. Good luck with that.

You are interviewing at the most liberal embassy. You will probably have your visa before they have their interview. They may get caught in AP for 6 months. So tell me what is fair. Figure that out and I have swamp land in North Carolina to see you.

Sorry, just keeping it real.

I just got my NOA1! Got a letter in the mail: Form I-797C, Notice of Action.

Received Date: June 17 2019

Notice Date: June 20 2019

What's interesting is it looks like it's going through the California Service Center.

Removal of Conditions:

Nebraska Service Center

File Date - January 17, 2023

Package Delivered - January 19, 2023

NOA Date - January 24, 2023

NOA Received - January 27, 2023

On the timeline. I just filled in the NOA1 information. I now get an estimate that says:

"Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 24, 2019 and September 29, 2019*. "

In this context, what does adjudicated mean? That's the expected NOA2 date?

It means when they will look (judge) your petition not necessarily approve it or issue a NOA2.

That's where  99% of them go to California (CSC).

ad·ju·di·cate
/əˈjo͞odəˌkāt/
verb
past tense: adjudicated; past participle: adjudicated
  1. make a formal judgment or decision about a problem or disputed matter.
"the Committee adjudicates on all betting disputes"

It means that the agent who is in charge of your file is reviewing all the background checks, your application and any other sources that they use. Once they have everything the will "adjudicate" your case. It's all part of the process.

The timeline is determined based on what other VJr's add to their timeline. Some keep up with it and others don't. So, it's not 100 percent but it gives you a better idea then nothing.
