No one has ever promised you when they will finish adjudicating your case. USCIS, NVC or the embassy hasn't. Everyone is different, every country is different and every embassy is different. Every tool you use is there to give you an "idea" when it will finish.

Dale you just visited your fiance right ? How was the trip ? Did it help at all with the waiting?

I leave Feb 1st to visit him!!  We cant wait to be reunited. It has given us something to look forward too.  I'll be back in NZ in March 7th.

I visited in April and came back in May. It helped.  That was my first trip and I don't plan to go again soon. Will wait it out here ( at least for now). Thanks for the encouragement. I believe too something may change soon. You too, hang in there. Everyone who is waiting,  its difficult to wait but most often it is worthwhile in the end.

Greenbaum  I agree. So our cases being "outside normal processing time " is relative. Mine was 7 months on January 19th. I sent in an inquiry that elicited a response. Will keep waiting patiently. The response stated that my request will be processed and I should expect a response to my inquiry by February 10th.
