I agree! It’s making me anxious 🤣 But idk if it’s just me overthinking or being impatient but it seems like NOA2 for some June filers are taking longer than Jan - May filers? 😭

Yeah I completely agree! We happen to be one of those unlucky ones it seems ☹️

Hi! Just wanting to see if anyone has gotten an NVC received notice? Our NOA 1 date is June 13, NOA 2 September 9.

I called NVC today and they didnt have our case on file yet, so just wondering if anyone has anymore estimate of updates.

Thanks!

Go search September noa2 to nvc thread. That's where everyone posts who have recieved there noa2 . You will find people with similar questions there.

Unless that's changed in the last 3 weeks, that's not correct. All UK citizens can only do medicals at Knightsbridge in London. USCIS has nothing to do with your case after NOA2. If you're a NI/UK citizen you cannot do your medical in Dublin. Your papers from the embassy will explain this as well.

Not true at all. My husband is a UK citizen and lives in Ireland (republic). He has an interview in dublin per NVC. So....not sure where you got your information from, but it's not accurate.

I have also received NOA2 on 09/09/2019 and NVC confirmed that they have received my file  on October 7th, 2019.

Congratulations!! We also just got approved !! The letter says we were approved on the 1st of October, but the letter just arrived last Sunday 06th of October! We have not received an email or update on the app. I really thought we would get an RFE, due to the paperwork being very unorganised, and my letter of intent way too personal (LOL!!), we also didn’t have a bunch of proof (just 56 pictures and the file, which shows when I entered/ left the states). However, we have spend 2 years together when my fiancé lived in Germany and maybe that helped our case a bit. For the next steps, we will definitely try to be more organized, and I’m really glad I found this forum for help! I’m sure everyone else is going to get their NOA 2 soon, and I’m happy to see everyone’s stories! Me and Ela are both going to Washington DC, so we have already made plans to meet up, once we are there 🙌🏽 Best wishes to everyone!

SO happy for you Lea!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Actually it is accurate. I've seen many people - including a relative - from NI try to use Dublin instead but ended up getting transferred back to London - and therefor making their process longer. If that's working for you, it's because your husband LIVES in the Republic rather than NI. Good for you if it does.

It's UK residents (even if, as you noted, you live just across the border in NI and are much closer to Dublin than London) that always go to London, not UK citizens.

As long as you're a legal resident of the country listed as your current physical address on the I-129F, NVC initially will send your case to the embassy/consulate that covers that location. It's sometimes possible to transfer to a different embassy/consulate, but this usually only works if you move to another country, want to interview at the embassy/consulate that normally covers your country of citizenship, or there are issues making interviewing at your normal embassy/consulate difficult/impossible (natural disasters, war, civil unrest, disputes with the US causing reductions in embassy staff, etc.).

We received our NOA1 on June 25, but still nothing for now. My fiance called last thursday and was told that it takes 5-7 months to process the file.

Same here! I constantly check this thread for updates lol. Hopefully we’ll get our NOA2 today or this week at least...
