I have a qauestion. Hopefully someone can answer 😔 So I just received a letter from court saying one particular credit card bank is suing me for impending balance. (Apparently my x husband loan he just used my acct🙄). So my question is, will it affect my pending petition for my fiance? I am the usc petitioner. Im currently waiting for my noa 2. And in anxious cause im scared it my affect my pending petition to him, 😔 thanks for those who will help

I don't say what you intend to do to correct this so I'm going take a stab at this from my perspective.  Yes, this very well will be a problem.  My suggestion is to get intouch with the bank, determine what it is that you can work out with them and then get it in writing and possibly try and get the case against you dropped.  Any and all paperwork you receive can help show that you are working with the bank and courts to rectify the situation.

I just called the bank's atty. I have a payment agreement with them. They'll mail me a copy. Would that be enough? I'll go to court too. When i got my agreement copy. Really stressful 😔

I can't say if this will or will not work but the two documents are what i would do. It looks good for your character that you want to resolve this issue. No court case and you should have no problems.

Does anyone know if USCIS is down?! Weekly Friday case status check up and it keeps asking me to enter my receipt number over & over again!

I did have a little heart attack because the app said there was a status update. 3 times. At 3. In the middle of the night. Probably just some technical glitches 🤷‍♀️

It says case received for me-still the same old thing. I don’t want to be pessimistic tho, I get it, you guys want a fast positive feedback, and I want that too, trust me on that (!!!) I just feel like we shouldn’t all expect a noa 2 within a record time. People have been waiting for 7/8/9 even 10 months in 2018!! It is a freaking miracle that some cases are moving super fast, we should not all go crazy and have high expectations, let’s be realistic.. it’ll be a little bit. 🙌🏾

Sad, but I have a bunch of respect for you!!! I’ve been waiting 2.5 years since we got engaged, just to be able to hand in those papers. So I can wait a bit longer to get my noa 2, right?! As long as we all will get it at some point 🌸

Sounds very similar to us, I've  been waiting several years too NOT  COUNTING  the time spent waiting for my petition to be approved, so I'm kinda numb to the waiting now, but I am closer now than ever before just waiting on USEM to issue the visa!!!!
