Congrats! How did you receive your case number? Did you call or get an email? I'm still kind of confused on this whole NVC process. Our NOA2 was from 06/07/2019. Not sure if I should be calling yet or not.

I called the NVC. The hold time for a representative was 25 minutes.

Your way to early.  Avrrage tome to NVC is 4 weeks. Average time to receive your case number 1 to 2 weeks. Just saying.

Case number received date quoted by NVC matches the Julian calendar provided in the very helpful PDF provided in the first page and post of this thread. Therefore, I do not expect that we will make the June 25th send out to the consulate/embassy. Which is fine, gives us a few more weeks to get everything ready for the next step! 

 

Just want to thank @Greenbaum and @Sarge2155 for all your wisdom and advice. We have been silent observers (stalkers!!) of VJ since we sent in our petition back in December. Your patience with this process and with everyone's questions is very inspiring!! Keep up the great work :)

 

Did you receive an email for the NVC? Or do we HAVE to call to get our case number 😕

I called to receive my case number yesterday and they gave it to me over the phone.  I haven't received any emails from the NVC yet, other than one saying that they haven't received our petition.  That email was received on 6/17/19 and my file reached the NVC on 6/21/19.
