Update: Our interview was scheduled for tomorrow as it turns out it was cancelled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian on the other islands of the Bahamas. I haven’t received an emailing stating this or how to reschedule, however a third party source told me to check the consulate’s (where I am from) website and it’s there confirming the cancellation. 

 

Oh oh boy I miss my fiancé so much I hope this doesn’t get push into our 1 year engagement anniversary

Ah dear!! What a news🤭😖 Terrible to hear that one day before the interview!! I hope you’ll be able to reschedule soon and things won’t take long until you actually can have yours! Fingers crossed!

I had my interview today, my visa is approved!!! Now just a week’s wait to receive my passport😁 (review will follow soon)

 

A huge thank you to everybody on this forum who answered my questions, made information available to me, was patient with me and gave me words of support.  Thanks guys!!! 😁😊😁

We are so relieved, it’s not been easy but we’re so happy! Wedding booked for end of October! ❤️

Hello all! Our interview was scheduled for 9/9. It went well but given that it's Afghanistan he was put into extra AP so now we wait....more.... So happy for all those who will be reuniting soon

 Update on Ryan and I: 

 

Ryan is the applicant from UK and I am the petitioner from the US. 

Our NOA 2 was June 19,2019 and our case was held at NVC for six weeks. 

 

Anyone stressing about the fast skip over USCIS to NVC than Embassy, please follow the packet or pdf. 

Missing and not having a case number by one day delayed us another two weeks after NVC assigned us our LND.  

 

However, once the case was “in transit” everything went extremely quick. 

Both packets were emails to Ryan (applicant). 

We had already submitted the DS 160 or were ready to submit all documents. 

 

At the end of August,  Ryan made a emergency flight to the United States and our daughter was born August 28th, 2019. 

 

He than flew back to the UK last week and we made sure he had all appropriate documentation. 

 

We than needed to update the DS 160 and Affidavit of Support to Reflect the change as I am the petitioner now adding our daughter on the Affidavit of Support. 

 

Medical is scheduled for this Friday the 20th and interview is 14 days after on the 4th of October. 

 

Congrats to all of you on your recent approvals and could not be happier to be a step closer in the process ! 🎉🎊

U do nothing.. they will automatically send it to NVC.. takes about a month to get there..

Yes you can request ur transcript from IRS.. it takes a few days to come.. and ur job letter.

Quick question about the employment verification letter. Who should the letter be addressed to? I am showing examples that have USCIS. Should this be made out to the specific embassy that my fiance will be going too?
