Hi @Greenbaum, does the UK have a P3? If so, could I get a link please? Happy to compare and update you if I receive one from the embassy (if they exist of course).

From Bristol UK to Colorado Springs, CO. Here's to adventure!

My status changed to “Ready” today too.
Is somebody have the
P3 for embassy en france ?

I already filed the D-160. And i am ready with all my documents, and my medicals visits are on august 27.

Do you think I can book my appointment for beginning of September ?

BTW, Do we still have to send a  Notification of applicant's readiness (ds-2001) ??? that's sounds weird to me, I can't find any informations about that for France. ( or really old ). I never heard about that too before today.

I', sure @Greenbaum does have the P3 you need.

Well, if your medical is om 27th august, I would check with the embassy when you can go for the interview. My embassy requires 10 days between the medical and the interview.

Thank you,

There is something i don't understand, on this document they say DS-260, but all the informations i found are DS-160 for the k1 visa. I m getting lost.

And there is no information clean about that on the
https://fr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-required-documents/

But i found that :
All K visa applicants are required to complete the online paperless DS-160 (Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application).

@
jeaniecz, what is your embassy ask ?

You need the DS 160, because you're applying for a K-1 visa.

I filled in DS 160, too.

Great,  i didn't spend 2 hours for nothing xD

will you book an appointment now ? or wait for the letter to book it ?
i m hesitant to book something now ... but i wish i could have the interview for beginning of September !

Like I already said: I would book it now but I cannot, because there are still no September slots available.

Yeah right, the DS 160 is terrible...🤮 I'm glad I'm rid of it!

After being stuck at NVC with “administrative processing” for a whole month, our status finally went to “in transit.”

@Greenbaum would you have p3 for Ethiopia?

Also, does anyone know if the embassy sends you the interview date, or do we schedule it ourselves?

Jamdie, come over to the UK forum. The packet3 is basically just a letter you get from the London embassy telling you that they received your case from NVC and tells you to go apply for the Visa (do the medical, set up the interview). It’s basically for people who aren’t on these forums. Here’s a link to a thread discussing this:
