Status on my case with NVC has been same for over 2 weeks, its showing At NVC.

Case number and Invoice number was assigned 2 weeks ago as well.

Can NVC demand more documents or can put any restrictions or hold the file longer for something than usual.

Really hoping it gets sent out to embassy next week.

:time:

There is a good possibility that you missed the last shipping date but I can't say for sure because your timeline stopped at NOA2. At this point you have to wait and see if your status changes on Tuesday/Wednesday next week. If you call they are NOT going to tell you when your case will ship so save your breath and your dime for the phone call.

3-4 days typically. Sometimes more sometimes less.

Thank you bunches.

As specific as this is gonna sound, would you happen to have any idea whether this time period would be business days or just days?

Everything that I quote is business day with the exception when I say 30 days I am still referring to a month and not actual days. These are guidelines and not hard rules.

We missed the last June shipment by a few days and also had to wait the full 2 weeks for the July 9th shipment. All in good time, friend :)

Everyone should know better that patience is a form of art by this point. Most of us who are here should be grateful we've gotten here so fast, and any setback should be expected, if not, normal.

Thank you so much for this @Greenbaum !

Nr 10 perfectly asnwered my question about the 2 different websites - well, I already have an account on both, so it doesn't matter much anyway.

I wonder where you got this information from?

3. How long to assign a Case # from NOA2: The timeline for receiving your case number is
this. From USCIS to NVC about 3-4 weeks. NVC is issuing case number in about 1-2 weeks
after receipt from USICS. Then your file is shipped to your embassy based on the current
scheduling. June 11th, and 25th – July 9th and 23rd – August 6th and 20th, are the shipment
dates for the upcoming months.

Good for you! My NOA2 is the same as yours, so I'm glad to hear people with the same date are getting their case numbers :) Hopefully that means mine is coming very soon, too😊

Congrats! We received our NOA2 before your NOA2, but we haven't received our case number yet. Should I be worried?

Have you been calling to check if your case is at NVC? Did you submit the inquiry?

From years of experience of being here and helping tons of people reach their goal with avoiding the hiccups that appear along their journey. I answer that what to expect question.

Why would you be worried. We have said over and over don't compare your case status with anyone else because each case is different, each applicants background is different, each application is different so if everything is different and you are seeing different results then why would you believe you should be worried. Relax, most cases go through the processing with out much fanfare. It's the mind playing games on you that you feel different emotions. Your not going to be left behind.
