Thank you @Greenbaum , now I have this question. I obtained a police character report from the police headquarters where I live on Feb 2019 when my Fiancé filed for the 129f. I have the police character with me dated Feb 2019, Now do I have to go for another police character certificate at the specified address on the p4?

Hello. @Greenbaum My CEAC status has said ready since July 8th. My fiancé lives in Aruba and I have read that Bogota will notify him of the interview date as we are unable to schedule ourselves. I also emailed Bogota and they said they would clearly communicate when ready. Do you have any idea on the average lead time for this? Thanks in advance.

I don't have any idea when you can expect something from your embassy.  But I can get you started with what I have. 

 

After you get your case number from NVC it would be a good idea if you were to connect with the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Colombia and they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

Get the US Embassy Colombian K-1 Packet 3 (P3) at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7hB3bl9Snfkb0NiMVFUd2JsVjA/view  as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the P3 as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

Ppl doing their vaccinations in Columbia can do them with anyone not connected to the approved medical center where  your exam will take place saving you a lot of money. Be sure to get a receipt that states every single vaccination that you received. See list below that are required vaccinations. Then during your medical present the receipt for the vaccinations to the Doctor and ask that they be transposed to the DS-3025 and marked COMPLETE! Very important that they are marked complete. You will use this document once you are married and filing your AOS package. 

 

 

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. Hi! Just received my case number from the NVC  it shows that is “at NVC” do I start filling out the DS-160 form now or wait till the status is “Ready” ?

Now I ask myself how do I get ppl to read the first post on the first page so they don't ask redundant questions? Then I have to ask myself why don't they read the questions that others are asking from previous pages. Oh well just have to help them along. Hint hint.

If the case status on ceac still says ready but the last update date finally changed does that mean that p3 is being mailed out

YAY I'm NOA2 June 20th so I should be hearing something anyday hopefully. I just called Yesterday morning and they hadn't received it yet ;-(

Your just a tad bit early. Usually 30 days to NVC from USCIS and then 1-2 weeks to assign the case number. Late next week I'd recommend calling.

Possibly but no one knows with any certainty. Keep your fingers crossed and let's hope that's what is taking place.

Status on my case with NVC has been same for over 2 weeks, its showing At NVC.

Case number and Invoice number was assigned 2 weeks ago as well.

Can NVC demand more documents or can put any restrictions or hold the file longer for something than usual.

Really hoping it gets sent out to embassy next week.
