The NVC received our case today!

Yay 😊!

A heads up for people who filled out the "ASK NVC" area that Greenbaum recommends, it does work, but just as the PDF says too, it might not work for everyone, my fiance was notified via email in response to our "inquiry" to the NVC. We didn't call.

Haven't gotten a response to my email inquiry. So, I just called the NVC today to see if they received the application from USCIS...no one answers and I get an answering machine message that doesn't put me on hold, just tells me to check the website, call later and then hangs up...

...god, these people are useless.

It’s 5.27pm eastern time. Too late in the day .. you need to call 7.01am eastern.

The employees work under an underfunded inefficient system .. they don’t create the system .. they make it work somehow despite the system.

They're not open until 9 am Eastern time and aren't supposed to close until 9pm Eastern time...and putting people on hold is something that's been around for decades...

In the 1980s when I called the Immigration and Naturalization Service they put you on hold and never picked up .. I remember holding one day for 3 hrs.. and that was in the days of timed call costs.   !🤪

The service used to be 7am to 9 pm .. just recently changed ..call 9.01 am eastern

How come you just found us. We have been here the whole time. In fact this is July and you just found June. July btw is right next door if you were looking for us. We're their to for you.

Be sure to download the pdf file from the first post on the first page.  Great information.

hey @Greenbaum - What's your opinion on this?

My fiance (K-1 visa) is in AP since June 18th, 2019 (Vietnam).  I’m planning to go visit her end of Aug. and praying that her visa will be approved/issued by then. BUT if it doesn’t, is it wise to marry her while I'm there and go back to the U.S to file I-130/CR-1? Or wait for K1 visa's outcome first, which could be months/years from what i have read...Thanks in advance.

221g blue slip

They asked for my ex's info (address/phone#)

Timeline of our relationship, airlines tickets.

All provided and was told to go home and wait for them to call.

Did you try calling both numbers? We tried to call the 5th of July but it said that the office was closed, perhaps because of an extended "Holiday" due to 4th of July & whatnot, something could've happened within their facilities that made them close earlier perhaps? The first time we called it was around 7:00 Pm Central Time and they did pick up... so... matter of luck I suppose 🤷‍♀️

The PDF that @Greenbaum shares on every on every month NOA2 to NVC threads has all the answers you seek :)

"Enter the petitioner's information as well as the beneficiary's in the "empty box". Full name, Date of Birth, (use DD/MONTH/YYYY, i.e., 08/April/2019 for the DOB field) NOA2 receipt number and WAC number. We have found in some cases that emails are never sent and in other cases this works well. So, your mileage may vary."

Ok, I called (603)-334-0888, was put on hold for a couple minutes, got an answer. They haven't received the application yet. No surprise since it's only been 2 weeks...but I wanted to make sure it wasn't received already because some people have gotten theirs received that early.

Hopefully that means mine will be received soon too. My Noa2 is 6/18, and today I called and they said they have no record of my application. Hopefully this just means they haven’t received it yet.
