Hello, everyone!

So our process has been kind of weird. Everything went well with the USCIS— longer than expected, but smooth for the most part. We started having issues when our case got to the NVC. I never got a letter saying our case got there, the case number, or that it had left the NVC. After waiting 3-4 weeks to find out anything, I inquired about the case on the NVC contact page. I received a response a week later saying our case had already been sent to the us embassy in London. It had our case number and everything on it. This was two weeks ago. My fiancé hasn’t gotten the letter saying the embassy has gotten the case. I noticed it usually takes between 2-5 days for similar situations to hear from the embassy. I know the addresses aren’t wrong because I received Noa1 and noa2 from the USCIS via mail. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how was it resolved? At what point should my fiancé contact the us embassy in London about our status?

Thank you in advance for the advice! its much appreciated!!! :)

Use the new number LNDxxxxxxxx to log in to the CEAC tracker. Use IMMIGRANT.

If it says "Ready" then London is ready for you to follow their K1 instructions. Scroll down to read Step 1, Step 2... first. Then go back up to the info links at the top

Forgot to say, 2-5 days is a bit ambitious for the British  fiancé to have the letter from London. It will say follow the website instructions. You don't need the actual letter for anything because you have the link to the instructions.

Well, I've tracked the case and it was received by the Embassy on 5/20/19, so it still doesn't make sense that he wouldn't have a letter yet.

It arrives offsite, gets to the embassy Immigrant Visa Unit, somebody has to log it in, a letter has to be generated, then Royal Mail has to deliver.  Makes sense to me that it might not happen in a week.

Ours arrived in London on 20th May as well and have booked the interview no problem. We have never received a letter and a friend of mine leaves for the US this week approved with her visa in hand and has never received a letter! Just follow the instructions on the US Embassy London website and you also get all the instructions from the embassy when you book it too! Hope this helps?
