Hello, my first post and let me thank the community in advance for the advice on the matter. I searched and was unable to find an answer on VJ. I am just starting my I-130 for my wife, and I have a question on the I-130 regarding the occupation section, and consequently our future domicile. As a background, I am currently working and living overseas, which I know is an issue for domicile. I just received an solid offer from a new company and I will working for starting that job July in California. I need to some advise on this issue and how to best proceed if possible:

  1. Should I list this upcoming job on the I-130 with a future start date?
  2. Follow-up question, should I send the package to the Phoenix drop box, if the job and my domicile in the near future will be in California

1) no it's not a current job

2) not unless you're actually living there when you send the package, otherwise it goes to chicago.

Much appreciated. That really help clarify some things. So, after I do start my new job, I can put the new information on the I-864 right and the corresponding change in address? Assuming I send my I-864 after starting my new job an transition back to states of course.
