I would advise you to file AOS before the I-94 expires.

First stop social security office, within the first day or 2. Then marriage, then file AOS along with EAD and AP application, then wait, wait, and wait again. You basically get about a month of doing things, and spending money like it's water, then it's back to the wait times again.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

You need to get married within 90 days, the you need a certified copy of the marriage certificate to complete AOS (Adjustment Of Status) .

You can file for the SSN up until 14 days before the expiration of the I-94, if not completed before then you will have to wait for the EAD card or green card.

I would advise the OP to play it by ear, if he is not comfortable with the way the marriage is heading then hold off doing AOS.

Well yes, always be flexible in case something doesn't work out. I just note that the beneficiary would need to leave before the 90 days expires, though.
