Divorce Decree

This question is for those that already had their interview. Please help.

I searched the Philippines forum and could not find a recent answer. Is a scanned copy of my divorce decree acceptable or do I need to send a Certified copy to my fiancé via FedEx? His interview is coming up in a couple of weeks and I am obviously worried.

Thank you!

For the petitioner a scanned copy is fine.  If for the beneficiary (annulment paperwork) it should be PSA original.

CFO was very interested in the decree, but we did not need at embassy

There are million of styles and forms of divorce decrees, they vary from county court.  No way they know what they are looking at

Maybe ... CFO refused us the Visa sticker for departure because they demanded original, luckily for us I could bring it when I came to escort her here, I am answering on my personal experience not logic or lack thereof, at best it's an unsure science

That weird, Is your fiancé very young?  Maybe 21 years or younger?

I had a few divorce decrees and just gave copies that I got from the courthouse, I believe they call them "Certified copies".  I  don't have any original divorce decrees from my previous marriages.

I have 3 divorce decrees from Dallas county and none of them even look similar, and one from another county.

No she was 32, certified copies are considered original copies (from the courthouse being their concern)
