I-751 New Biometric done and still waiting

Hi, guys. I decided to create this topic because I did new biometrics one week ago and still waiting. My concern is because I saw lots of approvals in less than a week after biometric done. Anyone in the same situation?

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Received date: 03/15/2018

12 month extended: 03/23/2018

biometrics wave: 05/11/2018

18 month extended: 10/16/2018

new biometric appointment: 05/16/2019

 

 

 

I did bio last week, 05/16/2019.

Why not just update your VJ timeline?

Please note that every case is different.

Not all are approved simply because they did their biometrics. It's possible that those peoples cases were pending approval and needed new biometrics to be approved, but it's also possible that you case just needs new biometrics to continue processing into the next stage, be that RFE, approval, or interview scheduling.

As long as your case is in normal time, then don't worry.
