Thank you so much.  You two are part of what helps keep me sane.  The journey isn't fun for anyone but some face more challenges than others.  We are just coming up on the 2 year mark from the first petition being sent.  As tough as it is, there is an end to this and we will all be with our loved ones.

Amen and thank you ,Am pretty so they are working on your family case

Hang in there, John! You got this.

Thank you.  If it weren't for the support here this would be a much more stressful journey!

You're welcome. I remember your case back from 2017 because I filed for my wife (fiancée then) in June of 2017. I truly wish you nothing but the best. You have a great attitude with this dreadful immigration process. You were a great inspiration to me during our prolonged wait for the I-129F NOA2 because I remember June 2017 filers had a long wait time for their NOA2s. When I saw your K-1 case was denied, I was truly upset. I am so happy to see you bounce back. It is very inspiring. Look how far you made it now. We are all rooting for you! You are so close, please persevere.

Thank you so much for the kind words.  It has certainly been an interesting few years.  270 days to NOA2 on the K-1.  Only 130 on the CR-1.  It is certainly not a trip for the faint of heart.  Congratulations on making it through.

So yesterday we all received CC from NVC.  This morning I get 3 emails that our interview appointments have been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  We never even got an interview appointment and the status is still "At NVC".  Is this due to the expedite or have we been kicked out of the system?

My heart can't take much more of this!!!!

I think it is because of the expedite, I believe with the expedite NVC has you schedule the interviews .. seems I remember that from a previous expedite.

I think so too.  They said computer glitch but I think it had something to do with the expedite.  I did call and our petitions are still at NVC.

It was only a few months back with the other expedite and I swear they scheduled their own interview.   Soon as you see CEAC status READY after the case file ships from NVC give the embassy a call and get things handled.

Embassy phone numbers about 1/3 the way down the page.

Both kids now show "In Transit" and we received a couple more expedite approved emails.  My wife is still "At NVC" and has received no additional expedite approved emails.  I assume they will eventually do the same for her.  It is early.

The story from the second call was a little different.  NVC sets the appointments BEFORE they send the petitions to the Embassy.  Since we are expedited they had to formally cancel that part of the process so they can release the petitions to the embassy.  We will set the interview when all are at Ready.  It wasn't a computer glitch, it was their process that requires a communication about the schedule before the petition is sent.

Now I am asking about Rose's petition since we have received a bunch of information on the 2 kids who are in transit but Rose is still "At NVC".  At least I am learning something.  I hope I never need to know this again!

I think the good in all this is that this is not a new section in your "How Not Too" guide or the "Do-Do Guide."

Still wishing you luck as you transit through the process in your own special way...haha

Finally done.
