Another weird one!!!

So yesterday we all received CC from NVC.  This morning I get 3 emails that our interview appointments have been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  We never even got an interview appointment and the status is still "At NVC".  Is this due to the expedite or have we been kicked out of the system?

 

My heart can't take much more of this!!!!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Sounds like a glitch in their system...

"The US immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  It is quite a journey!"

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

But we are still "At NVC" and we never got an interview appointment.  Just the cancellation.  Maybe they are working backwards!

It was a system glitch and we should just ignore it!  Our petitions are still at NVC and no appointment has been made yet.

we've all been following your story and wishing you the best

hope this doesn't drag on for much longer

i know our 6 year process had me in tears at times

but all is worth it when finally at POE

Thank you so much.  You two are part of what helps keep me sane.  The journey isn't fun for anyone but some face more challenges than others.  We are just coming up on the 2 year mark from the first petition being sent.  As tough as it is, there is an end to this and we will all be with our loved ones.

Yep,  worked for us

we are married over 9 years now and waiting for the interview for citizenship

then ,   all this paperwork (a file cabinet drawer full ) is going in a big bonfire

Try to do something to relax this holiday weekend
