What is packet 3 received, packet 3 sent etc

I do not understand in my timeline 

NVC received 

Date case 

NVC LEFT 

Consulate received 

Packet 3 received,  packet 3 sent packed 4 received 

 

I really need someone to explain every step that means I am in my NOA2

Timeline

NVC is the National Visa Center, it's the step after the NOA2. Once NOA2 is done, they send to NVC, after it get the case in some days they will send to the regional consulate of your country. Once the consulate get the case, they will send the Pack 3, it's the e-mail with the information of your interview in the consulate.
