Brooklyn is a different field office with a different processing time.

The "Queens," "Brooklyn" and "New York" (for Manhattan/Bronx) field offices are in the same building in Manhattan.

There are 2 related sites. They both ultimately contain the same info but the egov site tends to be the one to update first and the myuscis site is updated afterwards.

https://egov.uscis.gov/

- updates first

- can sign up for text/email alerts

https://my.uscis.gov/

- usually updates after the egov site

- contains copies of any notices/letters sent to you
