June 2019 filer here with I-751 pending. Live in Manhattan, NY.

My estimated completion date changes approximately every 2 to 3 hrs and fluctuates between Apr 2020 and May 2020. Estimate wait time for interview notice is 21 days... I'm very doubtful but we shall see!

I filed in April and received the noticed in January. So by that timetable you should received the notice around March.

CITIZENSHIP TIMELINE

4/2019: Submitted N400

5/2019: Biometrics (3 weeks)

2/2020: Interview (10 months)

That wait time is for Queens or Brooklyn.

Manhattan/Bronx is longer - 10 to 11 months

So even though mine is saying 6 months for updates and 7 months for completion, you don't think it's possible?

What's your timeline for case completion?

I've been watching this forum daily since April 2019 and no-one who lives in Manhattan or the Bronx has been given an interview in less than 10 months....

Applied April 2019....estimated case completion March 2020.

You're probably right. You've been on this longer. I do believe some people do not update their progress, while others will update and not post anything. I was on another forum and saw a guy submitted May last year and got interviewed in December in NYC field office.

Hello all,

I was K1 but got divorced. I have a GC now. I am from the Middle East.
It is about time to apply for N400.
I am not sure how easy or hard the interview and the officer questions about why did you get divorce in less than a year.

My question, do I have to hire a lawyer. Or it is ok/easy to do it by myself?
I am just worried about the interview since I was married and divorced through K1 waiver

Thanks.

Bronx filer... my case has been very consistent since I filed in July last year. Every month my case completion date changes - decreases by one month and my wait time has been the same as case completion. Set to April 2020 (2 months since beginning of February) no idea if it fluctuates I only check it once in a while, usually at the beginning of a new month. I figure I'll get an email when anything significant happens.

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:

Also, my case transferred in November... No clue to where or why.

My "estimated case completion" (the month in which everything is supposed to have been completed) has changed various times but within a relatively small range: February 2020 to April 2020. My interview is this month so March/April is going to end up being pretty accurate.

The case transfer - I'm guessing it was transferred to NEWARK. It's happened to quite a few people in this forum who live in the Bronx.

Yes, in regards to the last part, you have to know which county the person lives in to really understand the situation. For example, people who live in Westchester and Rockland are officially part of the same field office that services Manhattan and the Bronx. But for whatever reason, those who live in Westchester and Rockland get interviews a lot sooner than residents of Manhattan and Bronx even though they are all served by the same field office. For example, someone in this forum from Rockland applied in January last year and was a citizen by June.

It's also the case that people get confused when referring to the field office which they are served by. In reality, there are 3 separate field offices (with different processing time lines) that serve residents of New York City but they are all located in the same building in Manhattan. So some people who are served by the Queens office might say their field office is "New York City" which is not correct as the "New York" field office assists residents of Manhattan and the Bronx (+ Westchester and Rockland).

3 field offices:

- New York (for Manhattan/Bronx/Westchester/Brooklyn)

- Queens

- Brooklyn

At least it’s the end of the month. Oath will probably be end of March so you’ll be alright. I’ve been tried to give the site a break but apart from yours, do you see them interviewing for anyone who submitted in May, June etc? I just saw someone in another site that finally completed his last week. He had submitted 1/29/2019.

Yes I would say that people who filed in May and June 2019 should be receiving interviewing notices by now!

Did your estimated case completion change at all?

It says 6 months last time I check which means possible interview in August. Full completion is still saying September but I refuse to check again until May lol.

Case completion date still changing three to four times a day, going back and forth between April 2020 and May 2020.

The wait time for my interview to be scheduled is at 9 days today.

your dates tracks with mine -- ish --, @Simsim2

I am an early Oct filer (so 3.5 month after you), and my timeline says June for intw, and July for completion (which is only a 2 month difference, not 3.5, as one would expect)

But I have a feeling that my dates will be moving like everyone else's as they get closer. How much has your timeline moved about in recent months?
