Reading some of their google reviews. Some are good, some bad, but boy do they come after the people who post negative reviews. Hope others see this and go elsewhere. Wishing you the best, and hoping they make a speedy decision on your case. Good Luck!

Can they deny to give me a copy of the filled form if I request it?

The completed medical is a sealed packet that is sent directly and the patient/applicant is not given a copy. The records are opened in the presence of the applicant at the time of interview.

Yes, the envelope is sealed, they only open it on the interview. But the doctor must give you the copy of everything that is in the envelope! My second doctor gave me everything, so I knew what I sent!

The I-693 instruction state that the civil surgeon should provide you with a copy of the completed I-693 for your records. So yes, they are supposed to give you a copy, which they may charge you for. I paid $15 for my copy.

It is not! When I had my first medical in Russia, they provided me with a copy, I was also provided with a copy when I had my last medical in the USA.

I think you may be thinking about panel physicians in other countries, which I am not familiar with their forms or instructions. But for Civil Surgeons in the US, the instructions on the i-693 are pretty clear that they should provide a copy. Also, the CS medical is not forwarded on, it is handed to the beneficiary at the doctor's office in a sealed envelope. The beneficiary then either includes it with their applications, or brings it to the interview.

I was not arguing the point. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago...the Immigration physicians in my home country do not give the applicant a copy of the medical. Instead, they mail the sealed packet directly to the embassy. They do, however, share any anomalies they discover during the examination.

Sometimes they don't give you a copy, but you can ask and they will. They have to.

We understand that this was your experience, but we are trying to let others know that the I-693 instructions allow for the doctor to give the immigrant a copy of the medical before it is sealed. So that if a doctor says no, one can whip out the instructions and point out that they are entitled to a copy. Some people feel that they can't question a doctor, like they are an authority figure due to their position, education, and letters before or after their name. But they are just humans, like us. They don't know everything, like us, and they make mistakes, like us. If they are good, they will be open to being educated, even by a patient. If they are not open, then that should be a warning to find another doctor.

Exactly! If we knew that time, we would never send that medical! I would pay again to another doctor who provide me with a copy, I would spend more money, but I would never send anything without knowing what is there again. People I beg you, always double check everything, even if you have a lawyer, learn the immigration law, learn USCIS information, stay informed!

I just had my interview (I was waiting for 1,5 years). You can read my whole 3,5-years nonsence story in my profile (I was denied twice because of the doctor's mistake, she didn't feel the medical form properly). We have a lawyer.

The interview was quick and easy, but the problem is that the officer said that he is very sorry but he did not go through my case and he was not prepared for the interview. He gave us a paper says that my case is being held for review and it may take 120 days. but he said that we are fine and he thinks that everything will be ok. I am sick of waiting! My Driver's licence will be expired in 2 weeks and i will have to Uber again! I sick of it!

My status has been changed today!!! It says that my new card is being produced!!! We are so happy, we can not believe it!!!! I can't believe until we receive and touch it!!! What a good man interviewed me! May God reward him! We suffered of dishonesty for so long!!!  He just tried to seem very strict  but he is a good guy! He just terrified us but he did his job well! I love him!!! OMG!!!! So happy I am! I will keep you posted guys when I get my GC.
