Visa photos in Manila

We have an interview appointment at US embassy in Manila, and I am ready to send my fiance to Manila for her medical exam.  However, every photo shop in her home town can't seem to understand or comprehend the US visa photo requirements.  After 20 plus photos, none of them pass the requirements.

Is there a photo place near St. Luke's Medical extension that can produce US visa compliant photos?

Anyone else have this issue and how did you solve it.

Help please.

Yes, I have heard there is a shop just across the street from SLEC that will take passport photos to meet U.S. requirements.

They have a photo shop across from St Luke’s...my fiancé went there because the ones she had they would not accept. She wasn’t wearing a shirt with a collar. The photo shop is open really early too

The one we went to photoshopped in "professional attire" on the photo as an added (trivial) expense.

The one in cebu gave my then fiancee a jacket to wear.  Didn't know why but maybe for a collared look

YMMV

To anyone having difficulty finding somewhere to get the correct photo specs, I suggest going to Fujifilm in SM Megamall (in Manila, if you can). They knew how to do it.

And then, I had to renew my visa photo because it was getting close to 6 months old. But SM Megamall was too far for me to just get photos, so... After that, my experience with getting the right photos was kinda painful, partially my fault. 😂 I had gone to Great Image several times, I just thought they were reputable enough, gave specific instructions on the specs (because their visa photo is NOT exactly 2x2 inches, ugh). And they managed to print out the wrong size every friggin time. And they didn't know how to deviate from their template (yup, I asked for workarounds). Finally, I just used the digital image they e-mailed me. I made a Word document with 2x2 inch boxes and filled them with the image (not Photoshop, because I'm old school). 😂 I printed it out on photo paper and cut it myself (best to use a "cutter-and-ruler", not scissors, to ensure straight edges).

Yes, I tend to give myself a hard time. But who knows, my experience might help someone out there. 😊
