No child birth certificate for Frankfurt Consulate

Has anyone not had a birth certificate for a child that will follow to join for the Frankfurt consulate. My fiance is afraid he may have problems getting his child's birthcertificate from her country of birth. She is coming later and through a totally different country. Will it be a big problem if he turns in his documents without the birth certificate for a child who will not travel with him? I would like a response from anyone with direct or known experience with this particular issue. No guesses please

Yes no birth certificate is an issue. Look up on nvc website under reciprocity table on what to do for that country.

Thank you! Will it cause denial?

The reciprocity site will indicate if a BC is available and or a workaround if not.  Fairly rare that it is not.   What native country?

Also the other parents permission, court approval as relevant.

This is so important my childs father was from another country (USA) then we lived in and they scrutinised the court documents intensely

The child is from south Africa and also living in south Africa. The mother is deceased. The child will come later. We are concerned that it will be a problem to get the birth certificate from south Africa. His case is already in Frankfurt consulate waiting for packet 3. He has a birth certificate but not the original for her it was done at the SA embassy in Cameroon.

Then a death certificate would most likely be all you need

Have you tried to get it?  Most countries have moved to online requests that make it easy and fast to get civil documents.

Is it the long form birth certificate? If not, NikLR link shows the instructions on how to apply for one (and for a death certificate also).

When in doubt, the parentage is confirmed with DNA tests.

Unnecessary to try and be rude. I didn't ask how to get a birth certificate. Just what issues it will cause if I dont have it.
