Hey don’t get it twisted I live in the UK with all the best healthcare, best transportation systems, good housing benefits and good education for my kids and above all low crime as compared to US and I am not at all cost I have to go to the US so don’t insult where I come from, I don’t know where u are from but ur country must be worse than mine. I have told my fiancée to move here but he doesn’t and as a woman I have to and that was the reason I applied.  Pple like u have been brainwashed by the media by showing u the bad side of Africans but maybe if they show the negative side of ur country it will be worse than mine. If u bold enough tell me where u are from n i school u about ur own country.

I'm sorry to say this but there are statistics that show that people who are ( originally) from African, Muslim or Asian countries have a higher chance to get their visa denied because those countries are known for visa/ Green Card fraud.

No need to teach me about my country since Germany is not known for frauds like that so I'd appreciate you not to saying anything unless you know what you're talking about.

Please understand that no one is trying to bash Ghana or say it's awful or anything.

When people are saying your national country has an impact it's because Ghana is considered a high fraud country to immigration. No matter what we think or believe it doesn't matter, it matters what the officer standing in front of you believes and is told to believe.

In your case, you come from a statistically high fraud country based on statistics from the US government and nothing else, and you provided pictures in which you said you were photographed by a professional photographer doing "things normal couples do", and honestly if you said that to the officer, that probably didn't help your case.

A lot of people here will speak in the same ideals and concepts that you would get from an immigration officer.

There's something you will learn in your immigration journey and that is:

Proof matters more than love and how you feel. Without ample proof, love doesn't matter. There are people who go ahead and get a joint bank account solely because that's something USCIS considers as strong proof for CR-1/AOS/ROC, even if it's not something they want to do in their personal relationship. Sometimes we all have to make concessions to get to our end goal.

And how you feel about your country doesn't matter if USCIS disagrees.

Overall I would recommend getting married and going for CR-1.

No one has to move, should be forced to move, or feel that way.

It must be difficult to uproot your family and move to worse conditions than where you are currently living, when one person could come to you...

Missed that, excellent point.

Yeah, just because you are a woman doesn't mean he gets to decide what you have to do. Especially when it comes to something as big as literally moving to another different continent. In my opinion, a relationship like this is not worth it. But you do you.

In regards to the visa I agree with others in this thread, I would get married and file for CR-1

Going out on a limb here, but if she said something like this during the interview, could the CO have denied the OP to potentially protect her?

I mean, it's in the realm of possibilities, but I think if the officer was worried about human trafficking or something similar she would've followed up with her or alerted local authorities maybe? Of course, this is all pure speculation.
