resubmitting documents to NVC delays procedure

Timeline

hello guys,

NVC asked to correct a document on ds-260 , that was sent upside down, will this delay the  prosedure.

3 days have passed and in the column is says "submitted" instead of "accepted"

Yes, absolutely it may delay, as it shuffles your file to the back of the line until it comes up for review again.

DCF CR1 filing in Guangzhou, China:

Married - 2018-09-25

I-30 submitted at Guangzhou office - 2019-06-17
I-130 approved - 2019-06-18
DS-260 Confirmation Handed to CITIC to be Delivered - 2019-11-12-2019

DS-260 Approved, received email to schedule appointment - 2019-11-20-2019

Visa Interview in Guangzhou (Approved!) 😁 2019-12-16-2019

Immigration Visa Issued 2019-12-17-2019

thanks givionte, but on another site , a person had  sent his photo upside down and he corrected it , still he was given an approval for a schedule for an interview .

Some people have been lucky and had the resubmitted documents accepted quickly and other people did not have that luck.

 

We had the same issue; all documents were submitted on April 26th and already reviewed only 5 days later. However, my picture was the wrong way up and resubmitted on May 6th. Still not reviewed.. That is a 3 week delay and counting.. Very frustrating.. 😕
