Travelling to US on H-2B visa while CR1 has been filed

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated.


My girlfriend and I are planning to get married and move to the US with a CR1 visa. With the long processing times and not would rather not be apart for 6 or so months again, I have a company that has offered me a job once I get there but it is seasonal from April to October next year.

What are the chances of getting the CR1 visa processed in time?

They have also offered to sponsor a seasonal worker H-2B visa for me but I am not sure how that would affect the status of my CR1 application or if I would be allowed to enter as proving ties to home and an intent to leave would be harder than normal.
