I came to the states with k1. Got married before 90days frame. Got my 2yrs conditional gc. My wife want a divorce due to cultural differences. What is thw best for me. Annulment or divorce .my marriage will be 2yrs by sept amd my conditional gc will expire by oct 2020. What do i do pls

Immigration wise it doesn't matter if you go for a divorce or an annulment, you can still file for ROC on your own.

You’re in California? You might want to research the grounds for annulment in California. It’s not simple. You can get an annulment if the marriage was illegal (bigamous, incestuous, one party was a minor) or if one party is of “unsound mind”, if force or fraud can be proven (very difficult, especially after two years) or if one party cannot physically consummate the marriage. Pick your reason.

No idea how the 2 years has a (negative) meaning here. That time period is irrelevant as the green card was already issued (last year).

It sounds like the USC spouse wants the divorce anyway.

 

Nothing to see here, and the OP doesn't "owe" anything to the petitioner for choosing to leave behind the life they knew for love. Marriages fail.

Op, you don't have an immigration problem as you can do ROC with a divorce waiver. Personally, I'll choose divorce over annulment but I'm not going preach my reasons here. Either ways you don't have immigration problem but a marriage problem.

"cultural differences"?  And she just realized this?  Besides the 2 years of marriage, you were probably together for a while before that, and it didn't bother her until now?  I'm thinking that she found somebody else and you are being replaced.  Sorry.
