Then you will have mostly women US Citizens scream foul.

Ah, the citizens whose relatives get forgiven for transgressions others get denied applications for. It is already foul, just in a different way - the law is not applied equally. And as long as those loopholes exist, people will continue to use them. even if the "I changed my mind" happens before they reach the baggage carousel.

How can it be a concern if it is legal? let's support each other and leave the rest with USCIS to adjudicate the rest.

Entering on a non-immigrant visa with intent to immigrate is in fact illegal. Just like driving 75 in a 55 zone is illegal.

Whether immigrants or drivers get caught is another matter.

True, but I don’t think it’s everyone’s intent to fall and love and get married.

Lol, though given how fast everything must have been moving to have a relationship go from meeting someone to marriage all within the time allowed by a B visa visit, one does wonder about actual intent on entry ....

It is a concern because it is abused, while the rest of us wait our turns in the queue.

But I am amazed about how it took me a good number of years to find my spouse, whereas we occasionally see a B2 visitor miraculously find someone they fall in love with and marry within weeks, that too an American citizen. And all those promises made to a CO about ties to their country, poof.. disappear :)

Amazing, I tell ya, amazing!

In the real world I have yet to come across somebody who visited a foreign country on holiday, found someone and married, holiday romances are another thing.

But going on holiday and not coming back, well that sounds really odd.

Then it happening to someone who has COS/EOS in their passport which is pretty unusual, well what are the odds?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

That is even a risk since some illegals lie to everyone (not just employers) by claiming to be USC or LPR. A thread where an F-1 student was lied to by an illegal: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/692596-hi-im-a-single-mother-of-1-yo-son-i-need-some-advice-about-eb3/

Some are weeks, but some are not.

That’s a grand-sweeping statement.

Weeks.. months.. potatos.. patatos

i94 is typically 6 months. B2ers who find 'love' in the US tend to do so between week 1 and week 26. Or between month .25 and month 6 :)

It’s also irrelevant to this discussion. Lying about being a LPR or USC is of no use to someone who needs the spouse they have suddenly met and fallen madly in love with, so much so that they need to marry them NOW (or at least before the i94 runs out) to file AOS for them.
