How long from issued status until you can track passport?

Is it possible the embassy is lagging on their update? I've seen others' cases change to AP within a day of the interview, while ours just showed "ready" with last updated date our interview date 05/23 until late last night. I'm thinking maybe the embassy isn't up to speed. Hard to imagine Aftership would have our info if it didn't indeed have the passport/visa.

Also, to simplify--status changed to AP 3:00 PM Manila time 05/28 , then says in Aftership "In Transit" as of 11:26 PM Manila time 05/28. Is it possible some good things happened in those 8 hours?

No two visa applications process the same.  Because one application changed to ISSUED the day after and yours was still at READY status means nothing.

If your status changed to AP on the 28th of May it for sure has not shipped.    An application can be in AP for days or even months.   Approval is official until you see ISSUED on CEAC, after that it can be two more days before the visa package is actually ready for 2GO to pickup from the embassy.

Hi everyone! I just want to ask my moms immigrant visa status in ceac is issued as of May 28, 2019. From Administrative Processing last April 2019 it was changed to ISSUED last May 15, 2019. And and until now she didn't receive her passport yet. The case is updating every week just like they change to issued last May 15, 2019, then upon checking the following week it says case last update May 21, 2019 and now May 28, 2019. Anyone knows my moms situation? Thank you.

Your mom's CEAC changed to ISSUED on the 15th of May?    It can be 5-10 business days (weekends and holidays excluded) for the visa package to be delivered.

Have you tried to track the visa package on 2GO?

DELIVERY & TRACKING OF YOUR VISA

DO MAKE SURE YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS IS CORRECT
You have only 24 hrs after your interview to update this information!

To update your delivery preference follow this link:

Tracking & Visa Delivery Preference

To track your visa status on the CEAC use the link below:

To track your visa status on USTRAVELDOCS this link is an option:
http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp#trackingoptions

Here is a list for 2GO locations:

One Additional Way Of Checking your Passport/Visa Status

You can verify the status by sending your passport number as the SUBJECT and email to
passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com

If you receive an automated reply that says "Not Delivered," then your passport is  ready for pick-up at
the 2GO branch you selected.

Prior to "Not delivered," the status would be "Transit from post".

I see. Just wondering then how Aftership would already have the passport number/show it as "in transit" if in fact it wasn't yet in 2GO's hands. Any ideas what's going on there?

No idea.  I would not rely on Aftership in this situation, others have reported faulty reports.    And I think Aftership is great for tracking BB boxes when I ship them to the Phils.

It could be that USEM has created a shipping label for the package, but they wouldn't do that until your visa has been ISSUED.

If you think your visa has been issued and status on CEAC is incorrect, you could try tracking on 2GO.    Info is near the bottom of this page:

I see you are in the land of dry heat.   I moved from Tucson a few years back, after 18 years I needed to see water in a river ..

Thanks for the added insight. I have inquired directly with both Aftership and 2GO. Hopefully I get some answers, and if so of course I will share with the group (I have confirmed there are others from our same interview date that are showing the exact same thing).

I don't blame you! I'm actually from Southern California so I totally understand. Every now and then I wonder why I willingly left the beach for the desert LOL. But hey, AZ has its pros haha.

Sedona, White Mountains,  Williams and the Grand Canyon .. trip south to Tombstone.    And of course you have Canyon lake not too far away.

I did tons of motorcycling around that state.
