Update, it took 4 business days from Monday to Friday from the date of initial issued status before it became visible in 2Go as actually having been picked up from the Consular section in the afternoon there today.

With any luck that means we won't be delayed in transit by the holiday this coming Monday as it's a US holiday that would effect the embassy but not the rest of the country, no?

No

YMMV

As long as 2GO has the package U.S. holidays aren't a concern .. ;)

I figured as much, because unless it hadn't left the embassy before the U.S. holiday it wasn't going to be affected so long as there wasn't an equivalent philippine holiday on the same date which for Memorial day is not one.

The visa packet/ passport packet with the CR1 instructions has left the embassy and has been loaded for Cebu last night from Manila. So that's good news.

Next steps are for her to pick it up after they text, then present the visa and CFO certificate for the CFO sticker and booking our travel arrangements. I know this is really only the beginning of the journey, but at least the distance phase is almost over.

I would not go the same day they text,  but the next day, unless she is near the 2go office.   Save some potential disappointment

Ok, noted. Just listing the next steps, not the rate of execution there of. I.e. 1. Pick up Visa 2. Check for errors 3. CFO sticker (already attended the GCP to get her passport in her married name last year) 4. book tickets .... etc.

Did you call 2Go? Or did you track online? If online what did you use as a tracking number?

Used each of the three primary identifiers to try and search for it, under passport number, MNL, and the UID assigned to her by usatraveldocs.com.

Ignore the texts, wait for the email from usatraveldocs or for the tracking to say undelivered- hold for pick up at the specific outlet you selected and it should be ready to be picked up.

I just used the UID. We selected delivery to home since she doesn't live very far from the embassy.

So after just checking CEAC and seeing our visa status still at “AP”/immigrant, I just thought eh what the heck, why don’t I try plugging in my fiancée’s passport number in Aftership just for kicks...😱 “in transit”!

What does this mean? Thanks in advance!

That would say the visa package is in 2GO's possession, but if you have not seen ISSUED status on CEAC that shouldn't be correct.

Is it possible the embassy is lagging on their update? I've seen others' cases change to AP within a day of the interview, while ours just showed "ready" with last updated date our interview date 05/23 until late last night. I'm thinking maybe the embassy isn't up to speed. Hard to imagine Aftership would have our info if it didn't indeed have the passport/visa.

Also, to simplify--status changed to AP 3:00 PM Manila time 05/28 , then says in Aftership "In Transit" as of 11:26 PM Manila time 05/28. Is it possible some good things happened in those 8 hours?

Aftership is not that accurate at least in my experience with our case file. We were at issued status the day of the interview, but even after it started to show scans on the regular 2go tracking and now shows delivered/ picked up, aftership still said it was in transit so it doesn't mean anything until you can actually track it at https://supplychain.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/etrace/index.asp

Our case sat at issued for 4+ business days before it was picked up by 2GO, so if CEAC doesn't reflect that the visa is issued it's not issued yet nor picked up by 2GO.

Hi everyone! I just want to ask my moms immigrant visa status in ceac is issued as of May 28, 2019. From Administrative Processing last April 2019 it was changed to ISSUED last May 15, 2019. And and until now she didn't receive her passport yet. The case is updating every week just like they change to issued last May 15, 2019, then upon checking the following week it says case last update May 21, 2019 and now May 28, 2019. Anyone knows my moms situation? Thank you.
