How long from issued status until you can track passport?

My wife's interview went well, and the consul said she was approved on the spot. I know that only meant they recommended the visa for issuance, but it was a good sign on Monday May 20th, which was Sunday night here and when I checked the status before going to bed CEAC said the case was still ready but reviewed 5/20/19.

I woke up in the morning and checked it again and the status was already issued on CEAC. It has remained at issued status since then even being updated today, 5/22/19.

We had previously registered an account with usatraveldocs for the Philippines and selected the pick up location that she liked for pick up before the interview, I had re-confirmed it right afterwards on the same day of the interview there (before midnight on the day of the interview which is what they say is the last chance to make any changes).

I know they say it's typically released in 7-10 business (working days), however I would like to know when it's possible to track it. Nothing shows up in 2Go's track and trace under the UID, case ID, or Passport number, and nothing shows up in the document delivery section for USA traveldocs or http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp for her passport number yet though in fairness it has only been 3 full business days since the interview, maybe that's too soon, but we were excited because it was issued so much quicker than a lot of cases we've heard about.

I already know we're in the home stretch with the distance about to be closed, and I am just trying to see if we'll have a better estimate of where the visa is before June 4th which is 10 business days from the 20th less the holiday next monday.

I also know not to buy the plane tickets yet until her visa is in hand and checked for accuracy, but the CFO is completed already less the sticker, so that's not something we have to worry about now, etc.

Once ISSUED it can be two more working days before the visa package is ready for pick up by 2GO, then it can be another day before the package will show up  on 2GO tracking

Did you try the USTRAVELDOCS email tracking?   Near the bottom of the page.

The email gave the same answer as the website and logging in, no status at all even though CEAC says issued since after the interview there's no status for the passport yet on 2Go or usatraveldocs which is why I'm confused if something is wrong or not.

NVC scheduled the interview appointment, but we submitted the delivery preference correctly, so I'm wondering where the disconnect is if anything but it's not been changed from issued in CEAC to AP or ready again.

Just a little patience ..    If you are not picking up at MOA it can be another couple days before you will hear from 2GO

I'm in the same boat. Waiting this long was hard enough, but a few weeks more shouldn't be too bad. They said 2-3 weeks when my wife finished her interview, but I have heard of people getting them within 4-6 days.

It hasn't been 4 to 6 days for a while now

YMMV

I just checked a timeline yesterday and it only took them 6 days to receive their visa. My wife's friend got her visa a month ago and it only took 6 days as well.

You can't use someone else's visa application processing timeline as a barometer for how fast or slow your's should process.

I never said unequivocally that it would be 6 days. I mentioned above that they quote it at 2-3 weeks, but it could potentially be sooner as is seen in the case of other individuals.

I wasn't trying to say you were, sorry if I worded things that way ..  not my intent.

Average delivery times have not changed much, from ISSUED to delivery is 5-10 business days on average.  With picking up, 2GO MOA is the quickest.

Don't forget we have another holiday coming up.  ;)

No harm no foul. Even if it did come that soon, the earliest CFO she was able to get is June 5th. Just can't wait to be done with this process.

Done ...       You are just starting!    AOS .. ROC ... and finally Naturalization if you choose that route.

Is AOS even necessary with a CR-1?

Ah ... nope.   Your profile is blank so I did the bad thing .. assumed.  I should of checked your timeline

For you .. ROC in two years after POE.      One of the perks of the CR-1

Update, it took 4 business days from Monday to Friday from the date of initial issued status before it became visible in 2Go as actually having been picked up from the Consular section in the afternoon there today.

With any luck that means we won't be delayed in transit by the holiday this coming Monday as it's a US holiday that would effect the embassy but not the rest of the country, no?
