Police Certificates in China? Another option?

My fiance and I met while in school in China (foreign student taking chinese language course). She stayed in Guangzhou, China for 2 years. Is it possible to obtain a written statement (notarized) from the school stating that she did not commit any crime or offense for the 2 year stay?

Your question is a bit vague, is the forign citizen Chinese? Are you interviewing for the visa at the Guangzhou consulate?

You go to the public safety office where you live to get this, when in China you need to register at the local public safety office where you are living. The certificate is in Chinese, the police office may provide and english translation, if not the Notary office in the same jurisdiction can do the translations.

Generally available, reliable. Persons should apply for a certificate of no criminal record at the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) (or certain types of employers such as state owned enterprises), then make application to the notary office for a certificate based on the PSB document. Persons without a criminal record will be able to obtain a certificate to that effect. Certificates for individuals with one or more criminal convictions will list all convictions for which records still exist. The certificates purport to reflect all criminal convictions during residence in China.

My fiance's citizenship is South Korea. I am applying K-1 visa via South Korea US embassy.

She lived in guangzhou, china for 2 years as a foreign student. Also lived in Macau for 2 years on a work visa.

She is back living in Korea now, so is there anyway her friend or family member can get a police record for her?
