So we filed for ROC in Aug. 2017, we were late, but I typed at mercy letter to please accept our package, so fast forward a year later, Nov. 18 received RFE, need more evidence..ok fine sent in more evidence, waited some more, now we have to go in for an interview..ok gather more evidence, went to interview on April 25, 2019, officer was very nice and she will recommend for approval, and said will only take two to three weeks to approve..it's been almost a month and nothing, no updates, texts, letters nothing...What should I do, should i put in a case inquiry, call or ?????  So frustrating.

Sometimes, USCIS selectively refer I 751 to in-person interview based on origin of the nation. USCIS recently discovered more marriage fraud in last year for and this month for those who are originally from Jamaica.

While USCIS officially denies any of those instances, they have internal policy (not disclosed to public) that origin of the nation is the cause for in-person interview and longer hold. So asking DHS ombudsman or Senator's office won't be too much helpful if not, but it is worth trying after 4 months of the interview.

I know it sounds unfair and discriminatory, but USCIS will just shrug it off and will claim USCIS does not have to welcome every immigrant and we live in that kind of the world.

Thanks and I agree, we have been dealing with them long enough to know that they are in no type of rush to fulfull our requests any quicker than they have too, I'm just going to do an inquiry and see what happens from thee..thanks for your insight..I really appreciate it.

The legislative liaison staffers at the Federal-elected Senator/Representative is a good start. You have been jacked around enough, you should also consider contacting the CISOMB,  https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman .  Open up a case file with them and see if they can get some real answers to your rightful questions.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
