Hi! So my case has been reaffirmed and it’s at the consulate right now (embassy). The embassy has contacted my husband for an appointment (not an interview) . What’s the difference anyone has an idea?? They asked for marriage,police report and birth certificate.what are we to expect.

Prepare for an interview.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Ok. This may sound damb but let me ask. Do u have an idea of what questions they may ask? Because we were given a 221g in 2017 and we waited and they are done With their review . Before he went for his first interview we didn’t have a child but now we have a child they said he can’t bring him to the interview

Congrats on your reaffirmed case. Please how long did it take your case to be reaffirmed from the time you submitted a rebuttal when you got a noir.
