At my interview they only looked at the 2018 tax return. I wouldn't worry too much about not having an official statement since you've got other evidence.

Lease agreement is good. (They didn't look at this either.)

Question for you, for the I-134 for the interview, is an IRS tax transcript a necessity?? I was just told that we need to have it for the interview (which we don't). From what I see it's only needed for the I-864 for when we submit our adjustment of status. Can some one please confirm?? Thank you.

I did what others in the thread did as well and inquired for a P3 through the Montreal embassy support e-mail but got this instead.

I'm guessing it's because he's not a citizen but a permanent resident? Not sure if this is normal but will comply as normal, of course.

Hopefully packet 3 will come after this.

Thank you for your inquiry.

According to our records, to continue processing this case, the applicant is requested to submit a scanned copy of proof of status in Canada by replying to this email address. Any further processing of this immigrant visa case has been suspended until we receive the requested document. Once the document is submitted, the file will be reviewed and the consular officer will provide further information on the status of the case.

Hi There,

Got the same thing happen to me just a few weeks ago. Once I sent the proof that I was legally in Canada with a simple scan of my work visa they approved it and sent me packet 3 within a day :) So you got nothing to worry about !

No worries I was the same when it happened to me and got worried I would have to leave Canada and go back to France and wait even longer for the next steps..
Hopefully you get your Packet 3 and 4 quickly so you can get an appointment for September !

It's not a necessity but worth bringing if you have it on hand. We only brought the tax return and got approved. It shouldn't be an issue if your sponsor has sufficient income.

For AOS the I-864 asks for either the transcript OR return with W2s/1099s. We submitted everything anyway and haven't received a RFE for finances so far.

Ok thanks so much for your response. My fiancé got his transcript online last night anyways to be safe. It was a lot easier to do than I thought haha.
