Did you get your P3 already? I only got the notice from the NVC that it has forwarded the case to the consulate in MTL but nothing from MTL yet...

No P3 yet, I tried sending in the documents on Friday to MTL but I got the generic email back that they're not ready for them. I'm just going to wait until they send me the P3 I guess.

Yeah, I think the long holiday and summer hours in general means ours are taking their sweet time getting to us. The wait continues... hope we hear from them soon! How were you able to pay the fees and such?

Hey all! I just have a few questions/concerns regarding the I-134 if anyone has began to gather documents for that. My fiance provided me his 2018 tax return (W2 and 1080 included), a statement from the bank of america with the date his account was opened and the present balance, the letter from his boss at work providing required information, and he received a statement regarding his stocks (with a breakdown of the investments).

The thing I am worried about is that he asked the bank for a statement of how much has been deposited into his account in the last year and they told him that they don't supply that. So he went onto his banking account and printed out each monthly statements for the last year (it shows amount deposited each month). Will this be an issue? I'm super worried about it but I think it might just be the stress of it all.

Any information or thoughts is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

^ I believe tax returns, his employment letter and letter from his bank should be more than sufficient. From what I've gathered, I believe monthly bank statements/deposits and stock information wouldn't make a difference at all as long as he meets the minimum income requirement since that information is generally used for those who are supplementing assets short of meeting the minimum requirement.

By all means, if it makes you feel better about it, supply them. But try not to fret too much as I do not think they are necessary at all in your case.

Hey, I am in the same boat and I have the same documents as you. I don't think many banks in the US give the deposit total so the workaround was printing out monthly statements. Others, I believe, have done the same and gone through the process successfully. Hope that helps!

Hey, just got an updated second "ready" today. Wonder if I should try sending the documents again? haha. Kinda scared since I sent them in once and they said no.

Thank you, that definitely helps me and makes me less stressed!  What are you doing to u.s domicile? We were going to do a copy of his apartment lease and drivers license.

At my interview they only looked at the 2018 tax return. I wouldn't worry too much about not having an official statement since you've got other evidence.

Lease agreement is good. (They didn't look at this either.)

Hey, apparently MTL either emails OR mails the P3 packets but that packet has the invoice number on it so the advice I have received is just to be on the safe side and wait it out some more until the P3 arrives. The good thing is we have everything ready so we can just file it in as soon as the P3 arrives!

Is anyone else having a ridiculous time with the DS160? I can barely get past inputting my US travel before it crashes and hasn't saved anything regardless of if I've hit the save button... Any suggestions?

Hey! It could be the browser you're using, sometimes Internet Explorer and Safari can prove to be incompatible with some forms. Try using Chrome or Firefox, maybe that will make a difference? Hope that works.

Also, congrats on getting the P3! We have similar timelines so I am hoping mine comes soon as well. Did you and the petitioner both get a mailed copy of the P3?

We're having a hard time too. The page formatting keeps messing up every time he moves onto a new section of the DS160. Not sure what the issue is and he's using Chrome. Very frustrating! This is kind of the formatting I'm talking about. When I access this URL (https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/) , sometimes it looks like this and I don't know why.

I had a “ready” on my account and emailed them to inquire about P3. They emailed it to me within 24 hours :)

Yeah, this part was so frustrating. I'm trying to remember correctly how we worked around it. Make sure that you save every 2-3 entries, and when you do save make sure it actually takes you to the save page confirming it's saved. I remember for a while we thought it was saving each time we clicked "save" but we didn't notice it was actually giving us an error message because other portions of that page were not filled out... so make sure the entire rest of that section is filled and saved, and do the travel dates last.

We also had trouble entering 0 day stays... Every time we entered a 0 day and saved it, it would change things on previous entries. It was infuriating. It's tedious AF having to save every 2 minutes. You will still get kicked out like every 5 minutes but hopefully you can work out how to make sure it saves as you go.
