Hi!
Did anyone have their interview yesterday? Hope it all went well, if you could let us know when your status on CEAC changes to Processing that would be great!

those of us from October 9th interviews are still waiting for our status to change from Application Received to Processing!

Hi Everyone

Did anyone have their interview this week? Can you let us know what your CEAC status says?

Hey everyone,

a little update now that I’m settled in Hawaii.
I flew from Calgary to Seattle to Honolulu on Sunday. The original plan was to go through Vancouver and do the POE there but I was a bit nervous to do POE on a layover so we switched.
We got to the airport with plenty of time but there was nobody at the bag check until two hours before boarding.

When we went through customs Visa holders went through a different line. They took our packet and passports and did fingerprints.  We were then led to a room to wait for our interview.
It was PACKED!
No phone use was allowed which was frustrating because we were in there a long time (almost 2 hours total) and I couldn’t tell my fiancé how it was going. The airlines had flight attendants come in to tell people if they were going to make their flight or not. A few definitely didn’t. Finally the flight attendant with my airline let me and one other person know we were next and should make our flight. Whew 😅

There were no questions when we got to the desk. Just instructions for when we land and get married. We raced to our gate and made it just in time.
I was expecting the quick 5-20 minute thing everyone on visa Journey seemed to say they had. Not the case for me. Very long and stressful. But it worked out

I’ll also post my update since @QueenieBonds shared with us. I’ve been in Michigan for about a week now. My fiancé and I drove through the Port Huron POE through Sarnia. I made a basic list of the items in the boxes we had in the car. I had the boxes labelled. They never asked for a list and I never had to fill out any sort of forms. They never asked what was in the car. When we got to the border we told them we had a K1 and we had to go inside. Keys and phones had to be left inside. Only thing we could take with us was our passports and documents. The officer was VERY friendly and made the entire process smooth. He did ask us some basic questions such as the address I’d be staying at. Told us we had to get married and adjust status within 90 days and that’s it! Very easy :)
