Awesome, that is similar to my situation, 2018 he had decided to take most of 2018 off, after deciding to leave the government, so he had his military retirement and savings. He is back to making a great salary this year.

so I am bringing everything you mentioned.

one question, what is the difference between tax return and tax transcript?

The return was form 1040 I believe which has to be accompanied by W2s. This is enough if that is all you have. I read that bringing just tax transcripts that can be found on the IRS website would be fine without the return and W2s, but I brought the returns and W2s also just in case the transcripts werent enough.

Awesome! I have his 1040 and w2s. We have a letter from his current employer, a letter from veterans affairs and his pay stubs from this year. :))

Omg that is so exciting! Mine is on the 9th and I am on pins and needles. Just have to print off a few more pictures and get a few more things for the I134 and my binder will be complete.

Sorry to ask again, but what did the ask for as supporting documents for the I134?

same here! Me and my son will be on the 2nd!!! I’ve been going through the documents over and over I cant sleep hahahahahha so excited!!

also my fiancé is a combat vet and hasn’t worked since 2012 so he is tax exempt. No tax forms 🤔 i just made him do a notarized affidavit of why he hasn’t paid taxes and I also made a i134 form in his mom’s name as she never sponsored anyone before and she has zero dependents and my fiancé currently lives with her so she can be my cosponsor if it needs to be somebody paying taxes haha I included all her tax documents from 2017-2019. 😎

wish me luck 🌈🌈🌈🌈🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Nice!
Just FYI, my Fiance is also a combat vet. He was able to get two letters from veterans affairs. One just states how much he gets in total (both retirement and disability pay) and another letter that is a detailed break down of it and both letters states that he gets it for the rest of his life. He does work so we have that too, but I thought those letters might be of use for you as well. :))

(doesn’t look disabled though he is still pretty hot hahaha) was in a coma for a month but woke up.. it’s just his brain got all the damage and has zero vision in one eye. He can never work again even if he wanted too.. ☹️ He’s my walking miracle 🌈🌈🌈 he’ll be the stay at home dad! Haha i love working anyway. Staying at home with the kids won’t work for me.. lol

So my interview is next week, starting to have anxiety!

In the interview what did they ask for for proof of relationship?
