Just wanted to post a little update and say that my passport was ready for pickup at 9:20 this morning - quicker than the original expected date! I will be moving next weekend, so I'm very relieved that it came much quicker than 2 weeks :)

Oh and meant to ask... where do you live? I’m in Mississauga, just guessing how long it will take :)

Also worth noting that for the most part, interviews seem to open up at the "end of the month" unless there's a cancellation. I had a September interview and they filled up in just a few hours of being posted so you are not crazy for constantly checking! Could be the difference of an extra month wait for you.

Ok silly question, I must have missed this. Whose passport needs to be photocopied, Canadian or us?

Technically both. The Canadian and also the American for proof of status in the US. Unless you have some other form of proof of status.
