Hi! May I ask, when they open interviews for you guys how many days available did you see? It’s so strange! Even us spouses have been waiting for interview dates. A lot are waiting since April and they never gave schedules for almost 3 months now. I wld think because they are accomodating other visa categories but I see in here that even K1 applicants are having a hard time getting interview dates. We started 14mos ago and we still have no interview letter at all. 😔

Did you apply for a K3? Did you get your P3 etc?

I started 11 mths ago. Sigh

September interview dates opened Friday, July 26th in the late afternoon. I'm fairly certain they only opened for September 11, 18, and 25 (i think because the 4th is the week of a long weekend) and were all gone in a couple of hours! Your best bet is to check every day a few times a day, and then near the end of the month check every hour, if possible, until they open up! I think they do them at 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30 every Wednesday, so there isn't much to choose from when they become available. I really hope you can get an October interview :)

They opened up on the 26th of July for September, at that point I had been like refreshing the page every hour - and for the K1 visas they only had appointments available on the Wednesdays for the month of September - 11th, 18th and 25th. They opened them up around noon, or like 12:30pm-ish. And from other's experience, the appointments went fast! My advice would be keep checking every day, but in the last week of August, amp up the amount of times you hit refresh every day that week!

No. I am CR1 but with how Montreal is moving, I bet I will be IR1 by the time I get the interview.

Thank you so much for your reply. We (CR1and IR1) thought other visa caregories are being processed that is causing the delay in our category. But it seems they are really slow for all categories in the past few months.

Thank you but for our category as spouse of a USC, we don’t schedule our interview. All we can do is wait for NVC to schedule us and we dont know when. 3months they did not schedule interview dates.

Just to clarify, the documents from my fiances employer, etc, don’t need to be within 30 days of the interview? The only thing that should be signed within 30 days is the letter of intent to marry?
